Throw in maybe something like 1% property tax rate on $10 million of property or more, and 5% on $50 million in property. Make a carve out on that for privately owned company property so long as it is organized as an S corp, C corp, or LLC (yeah, make the sole proprietorship guys at least move to an LLC. Though I don't know any sole proprietorships that likely have >$10 million in property value). The income matriculating to the owner(s) would still be taxed at those rates.

And then ban companies of any type from political donations in cash or kind. That includes things like ad buys attempting to push a bill. I have no problem with lobbying for an outcome a company wants, so long as there is no bribery or quid pro quo going on. But donations, PACs, super PACs, ad buys to influence votes, etc. No.

I agree. The "trickle-down" theory is that reducing taxes on the wealthiest, which makes them even wealthier, makes the world better for everyone. How many real life counterexamples do we need that this is not so? The people who rise to extreme wealth are almost all sociopaths.
