I was hoping to pick one up at the Glendale CA location but they were unwilling to sell it today. I wholeheartedly agree with those above who appreciate the lack of random encounters/battles. They take away from the story, IMO, and reduce the game to a mindless beat-em-up. Grinding sucks.

I got the Asari Ally after finishing Feros, Noveria, Virmire, as well as all the side quests available to me on the Citadel and in the Traverse (including the collection quests).

I'm currently tackling my fifth playthrough (1st as engineer w/AR bonus) and I'm looking to complete the rest of my remaining achievements in this run. I'm only in need of the insanity achievement as well as tech-usage ones. I'm having a bitch of a time right now, though, as Engineer. I'm finding this class extremely underpowered (naturally since it's meant to be a support class) and I'm tempted to switch the difficulty level from insanity to hardcore. Mobs are very tough to take down and squad AI is extremely frustrating. I'm tired of them running into torrents of bullets, not ducking for cover, and shooting at walls. Have any of you played an engineer in insanity mode? Does gameplay get better at higher levels or does it continue to be brutal?
