Um, there is about an 8 hour class on this in a Cisco IOS course :). It's not easy, be sure to brush up on your Binary Math...

But really, it would much easier to simply use one subnet, with multiple networks, and build a simple routing table for your router:

Your subnet: 255.255.255.0
Network 1: 192.168.1.0
Network 2: 192.168.2.0
Network 3: 192.168.3.0
etc...
 
Funnily enough on the Microsoft NT Server Web site you will find 2 excellent introductory papers to TCP-IP and one of them is called

White Paper

This has a excellent explanation of Subnet masking.

The best place on this forum for a definitive answer to real networking question (Not, how do I connect a few Windows 98 machines) you best of asking in the NT Forum in future. :cool:
