The present invention provides convenient access to items of information that are related to various descriptors input by a user, by means of a unitary interface which is capable of accessing information in a variety of locations, through a number of different techniques. Using a plurality of heuristic algorithms to operate upon information descriptors input by the user, the present invention locates and displays candidate items of information for selection and/or retrieval. Thus, the advantages of a search engine can be exploited, while listing only relevant object candidate items of information.

But I am sure you are fine with the fact that Microsoft goes around to every Android OEM and threatens to sue them unless they sign a license agreement. At least Apple discloses the patents they claim infringe. We have no idea what MS claims. They even got Foxconn to sign a license agreement and they just put the damn things together.
Many estimates put the revenue that MS generates from Android OEMs at over $1B per year.

You miss a point. Unless Apple can get the products yanked off the market or force the competition to hold up sales as they reconfigure software. If they can get that initial injunction they "win" to a certain extent. Even if it takes years for the final verdict to be handed down a 3 month hold up in sales gives Apple time to make the next iPhone with a minor update.

This is so broad that it applies to everything. TV, Radio, Every Single computer or Internet services, you name it. Even Google can be sued for this patent. Apple can sue the entire computer industry and planet earth with something like this. This is just plain ridiculous, that this patents are approved.
Lets paste it here:

Instead of blaming the game how about for once we blame the player, namely Apple pretty much the biggest douche on the planet. Blaming the "system" makes your claim look like Apple is all innocent in all of this. They started this shit on April 15, 2011. THEY fired the first shot not only via the lawsuit but through Steve "The Douche" Jobs's comment on destroying Android, and have continued against everyone from HTC to Moto. Apple can go frak off. They aren't defending themselves. They are taking advantage of a screwed up system to try and frak over their competition without innovating. And they are finding its not working as well as they thought it would.

Microsoft has a legitimate argument. The FAT 32 file system. But they don't want to ban every competitor like Apple does. They just want companies to pay what they should to use SD Cards, usually if you can believe the rumours, at $5 a device.
I have to point out Apple invented IEEE-1394 but a lot of what Apple creates are methodologies for improving and implementing ideas using existing technologies. Archimedes could be accused of doing this by wrapping an inclined plane around a cylinder. A vast majority of what has come to be is the result of this style of innovation. Henry Ford & Thomas Edison were big on using this strategy. If you want to accuse a company of being "worst company the technology world ever saw come to life" look at Sony as of late. As a media company, their mission is completely at odds with the technology world. Apple has little interest in creating media content, merely distributing it to increase hardware sales.[url=http://meincmagazine.com/civis/viewtopic.php?p=24545203#p24545203:1aqnugia said:nibb[/url]":1aqnugia]Apple does not compete or invent.
