Update, 11:30pm ET: As some Westworld fans predicted, Monday’s tease of a full second-season spoiler bonanza, weeks before the April 22 premiere on HBO, didn’t quite add up.
Series co-creator and executive producer Jonathan Nolan hopped onto Reddit just shy of midnight on Monday to follow through on his earlier promise of posting a spoiler-filled video, should his request (detailed in the report below) exceed 1,000 net Reddit upvotes.
“We left this in your hands,” Nolan wrote before attaching a YouTube link. “Some may feel this is a drastic step, but I, for one, love and trust this community.”
Yes, it’s a Rickroll (about as “drastic” a step as you’ll find on the Internet, some would argue), but it’s done with a clever, Westworld twist. It’s embedded below.
