Some human eyes can perceive over 60 fps. Perhaps you aren't among them. Do fluorescents flicker for you?

I used to be at risk of migraines from sitting in a room with CRTs at 60 Hz refresh (ugh, the pulsating horror). So happy when LCDs became the norm.
