Much better. However, it's not good enough that you rewrote the article - this needs to happen much, much more quickly. If you post articles Friday evenings, have a friendly editor on hand on Friday nights to address any problems on the spot, and don't leave it to your terminally overworked moderators, since they can only do things that make the situation worse, like locking comments, which also cements voting and left some heinous shit visible for DAYS.
I specifically stopped subscribing because I was sick and tired of the "we don't have anyone who can do anything off hours" situation. If Ars wants to be a real source for journalism, they need to understand the concept of coverage, and doubly understand that any published article is ALWAYS a first draft that is destroying your reputation for every minute that it's left in a bad state.
Please fix this, and tell us what you've done to fix it, not what you plan to do. Then I might consider subscribing again. Otherwise it's just words we've heard before.
