The FCC is incredibly important. It touches literally every American in a way that few other parts of the government do.
That's why it was so profoundly disappointing that Biden waited the better part of a year to nominate Sohn to it. He squandered what ended up being half his term at the FCC, an agency where real impactful rulemaking takes a very long time. Trump, you'll notice, did not make the same mistake.
