When a boy becomes a man, the man should therefore learn how to fall well. Many men scoff at such a skill. But then, many men injure themselves falling. And all men fall.
(This piece is fantastic by the way. I suggest trying jiu-jitsu, or perhaps hapkido, or capoeira. The 'learning to fall well' part is at the beginning, in the first few months of training. Then you can leave off, you don't need to stay and learn the more advanced combative stuff.)

The great thing about snowboarding, besides being way more fun to do, is the only things you tend to break are your wrists or your neck. Thank goodness I'm not old enough to ski yet.

When the article loaded I saw the second image and for a moment thought that Lee was attempting to ski while wearing Oculus goggles. I'm not sure if that would have been a fork in the premise of the Darwin Award.

Good thing the writer has learned! There's certain readers here that may or may not have cracked a helmet while snowboarding. Is it sad that I saw the title and subtitle and thought, "What has Lee done now?" before looking at his picture and name? This was pure poetry despite the fact I'm having flashbacks to high school English class. I second the idea of an illustrated book called The Taking Ski.
