    I'm for anything that lets us use a good language for web apps instead of javascript, but asm.js seems like a terrible hack. I think Google and MS just need to get together and force through some kind of web VM and bytecode. Put it in IE and Chrome and everyone else will pretty much be forced to follow along, bypassing all the irrational javascript fanatics on the standards committees.
