“Sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing, even if it breaks Peter Parker’s heart.”

From the cast list, I think it was likely Tramell Tillman, in his undisclosed role that sounds like it could be Morpheus pretending to be a biologist.Wait. Was that not James Earl Jones doing the narration about spiders' life cycles? What's his role in the film?
Or is he only in the trailer?
Another trilogy? Has there ever been a fourth film in a Spider-Man series or would that cause the world to end?Jennifer Ouellette said:We’ve got an official trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the follow-up to 2021’s No Way Home that is purportedly intended to launch a fresh trilogy of films with Tom Holland in the title role.
4? Which is right?2026 - Spider-Man 4: Brand New Day
Then I shall mention that commers is not a real word.Do with this information whatever you like.
Ah, a film reference! (Animated gif in spoiler tags to not disturb readers.)I'm too old to let elitist snobbery stop me from appreciating the opportunity to share his boyhood with him.
Correct, the real word has only one "m" (or a "u" as the first vowel...)Then I shall mention that commers is not a real word.
You know how it has been pointed out that Mark Hamill was older when he appeared in The Last Jedi than Sir Alec was for Star Wars?Ah, a film reference! (Animated gif in spoiler tags to not disturb readers.)
I hear you there. He embodied the innocence of the character. Toby did in the first two, then Spiderman 3 was written on coke or something.I have really liked the Tom Holland era of Spider-Man.
Funny, I just watched this over the weekend, and I think it might be the best MCU movie.I didn’t love No Way Home, although it was entertaining and enjoyable, and it was fun seeing all the other incarnations of Spider-Man across the multiverse make cameos. Story-wise, though, it was the weakest of the Holland Spidey films.
Having seen zero Star Wars films, series, or cookery books (I've been busy), I was unaware. You know how it has been pointed out that Mark Hamill was older when he appeared in The Last Jedi than Sir Alec was for Star Wars?
Considering both characters have been around since the 1970s, there's definitely been at least one crossover between them at some point (even Archie Comics had a crossover with the Punisher, where he chaperoned their Senior Prom). The movie will probably just gloss over things during the intro as "at some point between me wiping humanity's memory of me and now, I ran into this weirdo who fights crime with guns instead of fists!"
On this topic, off main topic. If you love bombastic preview voiceovers, this movie is a gem.Well, he's dead. So maybe he and Spiderman are both coming back in the movie?
I was hoping for home aloneDon't worry, it will end soon. The next movie will be:
Spider-Man 5: Homeless
Punisher shows up in the Daredevil series, and Matt is Peter's attorney in No Way Home...Well, I realize that.
But I know with Disney trying to cram every Marvel character ever into the MCU, they've been at least doing feeder series or at least after-credit scenes that put character they're going to feature together in the same place.
I was just wondering if I'd missed an MCU bit where they set that up.
While it is a lot of Zendaya, that's not necessarily a bad thing.I"m feeling a bit over Zendaya'ed this week. Dune3 yesterday, Spidey today? I suppose Euphoria tomorrow?![]()
The biggest plot hole in No Way Home is expecting the audience to believe that high-level neurosurgeon, former sorcerer supreme, and master of time and space Stephen Strange couldn't keep his concentration while a teenager prattled on about his melodrama. We've seen him handle much higher pressure situations with aplomb, the whole scenario strains credulity!Story-wise, though, it was the weakest of the Holland Spidey films
It was an entertaining movie to watch, which I guess is truly all you can ask of a movie. I hated how it ended, though. It violated one of the prime tenets of fiction writing - there are certain ways you simply never end a story, and 'It was all just a dream!' is one of them.Funny, I just watched this over the weekend, and I think it might be the best MCU movie.
Oof. There are so many better ways than "It was all just a dream!'It was an entertaining movie to watch, which I guess is truly all you can ask of a movie. I hated how it ended, though. Somehow needy whiny teen drama being Dr. Strange's kryptonite feels perfectly on point to me. Like the whole universe could be collapsing around him and no biggie, but being forced to listen to that is like an itch you can't scratch and it's driving him crazy. If there was a thought bubble I'm sure you'd see Homer Simpson strangling Bart, like why you little...The biggest plot hole in No Way Home is expecting the audience to believe that high-level neurosurgeon, former sorcerer supreme, and master of time and space Stephen Strange couldn't keep his concentration while a teenager prattled on about his melodrama. Yeah, but the alternative is Eternals 2 (doesn't anyone else want to know what Starfox is up to? Anyone?), or they could explore the C-list. Here's some thoughts for the pitch-board:Another Spidey film?
Daredevil is not confirmed to be in this movie. There are rumors but nothing's for sure.If you're going to bring in Daredevil and Punisher, why not Kingpin?
To quote B5, GIANTS IN THE PLAYGROUND.2 big, mega-wealthy corpos acting like spoiled brats fighting in a sandbox... Yeah, that tracks.![]()
I didn't get "it was all just a dream" from it at all. Everyone forgot who SpiderHyphenMan was, but his actions still had real effects, especially on all those villains he redeemed. So long as real effects happened, it could all be a LITERAL dream and still matter. Like... you know, Nightmare on Elm Street. Kids actually died even if it was all just a dream. It being a dream isn't the issue if there's still lasting consequences. It was an entertaining movie to watch, which I guess is truly all you can ask of a movie. I hated how it ended, though. If New Day reverses that to any considerable degree to where the story doesn't end on that 'none of it mattered' note, then I'm all for it and will watch it.
OK, is it just me, or....?
I was a few seconds into watching the trailer, and I see Peter flip his phone closed.
That's a >$1500 phone, in pristine condition; Peter wouldn't spend that kind of money on a device because he simply doesn't have that kind of cash flow (as I know the character, that is).
You do know that was the premise of The Wizard of Oz movie, right? It was an entertaining movie to watch, which I guess is truly all you can ask of a movie. I hated how it ended, though. Also Jacob's Ladder, American Psycho, Inception and many other classics. You do know that was the premise of The Wizard of Oz movie, right?
To be fair, this incarnation of Spider-Man's real superpower is getting under the skin of other superheroes. The biggest plot hole in No Way Home is expecting the audience to believe that high-level neurosurgeon, former sorcerer supreme, and master of time and space Stephen Strange couldn't keep his concentration while a teenager prattled on about his melodrama. Hey. Inception might have been a dream. Also Jacob's Ladder, American Psycho, Inception and many other classics.
We know for sure at least some of it was a dreamHey. Inception might have been a dream.
I dreamt it was a dream about dreaming... I think. We know for sure at least some of it was a dream![]()
Disney's timed exclusive for Disney+ ends this year so this film will probably be Netflix first.Last time I checked, spiderman is like 80~90% Sony.
Sony produces it, flims it, distributes it in theaters. Then disney gets a timed exclusive for it in streaming, but after a while, as per Sony's standard MO, the license it to all commers.
Do with this information whatever you like.
That is no longer in effect after the negotiation between Sony and Disney to have Spider-Man appear in Captain America: Civil War.Sony has a "use it or lose it" deal for their Spiderman movie rights. It'll take them decades to finally give up.
That was the legendary Keith David! (Goliath from Disney's Gargoyles and hundreds of live action film and TV roles and animation film and TV roles).Wait. Was that not James Earl Jones doing the narration about spiders' life cycles? What's his role in the film?
Or is he only in the trailer?
This reminds me even Captain Kirk was fed up with All World, All Galaxy, All Universe saving.Looks good! Doesn't have to be All World All Galaxy All Universe saving -- in fact, better if it's not.
Ahhhhhh. Now that you mention it, that's 100% Goliath. That's why it sounded so familiar that I thought it must be Jones. Thank you! That was the legendary Keith David! (Goliath from Disney's Gargoyles and hundreds of live action film and TV roles and animation film and TV roles).
