Interesting that acquisition was somehow a better value for MS than just moneyhatting exclusivity or timed exclusivity on a game-by-game or property-by-property basis.
This just means they can whole-ass the console port.If it means the next Elder Scrolls game won't have an awful half-asssed console-port UI in Windows, I'm all for it.

Console Microsoft is so different to (the old) Phone Microsoft.
And it's funny how Console Microsoft seems to be such a distant sibling to Corporate O365 Microsoft. I wonder if these things are related?
Also, *if* this is "industry changing" shouldn't it really be looked at by Governments and Regulators?
It is truly odd to read an article of "Massive Software Giant Acquires Long Beloved Gaming Studio" and have the reaction be positive. I happen to think it is positive as well as Microsoft has done a pretty good job and Bethesda...not so much lately.
If it means the next Elder Scrolls game won't have an awful half-asssed console-port UI in Windows, I'm all for it.
Maybe we'll get another Fallout from Obsidian now.
