dizdizzie[/url]":2jg4q2o8]MGS 2 was on PC!
I played MGS 2 on a PC. It was a ... weird port.
For one, even at launch it only worked well on NVidia cards and not Ati (it's been a while, it may have been the other way around, but it worked for me and I've always had NVidia cards).
Secondly, it was kind of playable with a keyboard, but it was much better with a controller. I bought a gamepad specifically for MGS 2 on PC. The sequence near the end where you used one stick to move and the other to control your sword was... not doable... on a keyboard/mouse combo.
Third, I think it stopped working completely because of video card driver changes in less than 2 years.

So if you'll excuse me, I'll get MGS 5 for a console :)

I don't think you can assume that your experience all the way back with MGS 2, something that happened I believe more than 10 years ago, will be the experience with the port today.
Companies have a lot more experience with porting to PC and the quality of ports is significantly better, on average, today than it was ten years ago when PC was an afterthought if it even got a title.

I don't like these games, but I would shocked if it was at least a decent, serviceable port.
