I honestly think this medical tyranny thing comes from hospital lobbyists, the more sick people get the more business hospitals get, they're businesses after all in America.
Anything to force people to spend more money is considered good in the USA, even if it reduces life expectancy. We live in a state that farms you for your wealth for an entire lifetime.
