As much as I like from a tech standpoint these behemoth handhelds that almost require either a portable battery or to be played near an outlet (e.g. at home), I do miss actual portable consoles that fit in your pocket. That market has basically disappeared outside of cheap handheld consoles that are basically glorified android emulator machines with terrible ergonomics or questionable QC longevity. It doesn't look like the industry cares about it at all sadly.

Have you ever owned a Game Gear?
My GPD Win mini certainly doesn't last less than my GG used to on 6 AA batteries.
