I recall that children generally suffered more mild symptoms and lower fatality rates with covid. I wonder how that fares after they get exposed to measles and no longer have an effective immune system

I'm a parent and I choose to get my kids vaccinated so I'm not sleeping next to a hospital bed with them on a ventilator, but I guess "parents choice" really means "Republican's choice." Silly me.

Also, I recall differently... That younger children (infants and toddlers) were at higher risk of severe disease with COVID. Older children had lower risk. I remember because I had an infant and 3 year old at the time.

I'm sure that's also a lie, but they're telling us we're in step with the world standards.

I was sick with some sort of upper respiratory infection while pregnant, and I cannot overstate how intensely miserable it was and even panic-inducing because it was hard to breathe. That was just the run-of-the-mill stuff.
When you are pregnant, you are immune compromised. Evidence-based vaccination is so valuable for protecting both pregnant people and developing babies. We saw that pregnant people were very vulnerable to covid in the first wave. I'm horrified that they're pulling this recommendation.

This isn't about grift. In fact Trump's decisions are hammering Big Pharma by cutting some of their best selling products like vaccines.
This is a psyops project. They're controlling the MAGA crowd by feeding the MAGA's distrust of anything science (e.g. anything more complicated than a 10 year old can understand). They get big wins by making statements and ending programs that defy MAGA's definition of common sense (anything that disproves their simple logic which ignores the bigger picture must be false).
