Paying people? He has an army of simps boosting his ego for free.I have never, nor thought I ever would, see someone with so much money and power act like such an imbecile day in and day out in a massively public spectacle.
Interesting.
One of the major benefits of having money is paying people to make you look good. This is Wealth 101.
Stifling access to other sites is just Musk exercising his freedom of speech. /sarcasmMusk has famously called himself a "free speech absolutist," said he intended to protect free speech on Twitter, and that he is "against censorship that goes far beyond the law."
Yeah, various news agencies are flailing at what to actually call it. No one will ever just say X. It's entirely too non-descript. I've also seen "X social media company". Which is funny, as it's over twice as long as "Twitter". But yeah, Musk's master plan of just naming something X has run face first into the stop trying to make fetch happen conundrum.I love that Twitter is having a Prince moment with their name/brand. It’s now always “X, formerly known as Twitter”. That has to be giving Elon fits.
While the press@twitter.com media contact email address used to auto-reply to all messages with a poop emoji, the auto-reply message now says, "We'll get back to you soon."
Do let us know when they get back to you so we can see what they mean by "soon."Jon Brodkin said:We contacted X today and will update this article if we get a response. While the press@twitter.com media contact email address used to auto-reply to all messages with a poop emoji, the auto-reply message now says, "We'll get back to you soon."
And that's great! The Douchebaggins clan is an honorable family from the shire, and in no way should you be associated with Elon Musk! Live proudly and do not let your name be besmirched. No, we don't stoop to his level
I think that was the point.squints at username
"Brand X" is literally the term for something generic that many of us old people grew up with. And by old people I mean people who are a few years younger than Musk like me.Yeah, various news agencies are flailing at what to actually call it. No one will ever just say X. It's entirely too non-descript. I've also seen "X social media company". Which is funny, as it's over twice as long as "Twitter". For someone who also reads mandarin and Japanese part of the web, I can assure you that everyone still uses the word Twitter, possible for a very very long time.I love that Twitter is having a Prince moment with their name/brand. It’s now always “X, formerly known as Twitter”. That has to be giving Elon fits.
No need to hint, just look at the US between 2017 and 2020These sorts of things hint at what an Elon (or people he supports) would act like in government.
No integrity, no honesty and in many regards, no real sense of community.
Certainly not true supporter of anything like a truly free and equitable democracy.
Elon is, in essence, doing these destructive things to himself - imagine what he'd do to you.
You may have heard of this other guy who has been featured a lot in the news this week. /sI have never, nor thought I ever would, see someone with so much money and power act like such an imbecile day in and day out in a massively public spectacle.

* "an Elon move"More free publicity for X
Sure, it's a dick-move, but no one was hurt, all the major news outlets are once again making Musk/X the topic of the week, and the throttling only affects the people who, for whatever reason, refuse to leave the X platform.
