I don't mind the offset thumb sticks...mostly because I have large(ish) sized hands.
When I'm on the PS3 sometimes my thumbs will crash into each other...especially during FPS matches when I'm trying to strafe/circle around a target. With the Xbox controller that never happens.
Still... I can see the desire for options when it comes to controller size. A friend of mine has Muscular Dystrophy so the Xbox controllers are way too big for him, but the Playstation controllers are a good fit.
Maybe you should get one of those adapters that lets you hook up a mouse/keyboard to the game system. I want to try one of those.
