We’re now hitting oil depots (seeing reports of Israel bombing around 30) for some reason, because this will definitely help the affordability crisis and I guess double-tapping girls’ schools is boring?

I’d ask what the fuck are we even doing, but that’s basically a daily mantra at this point. If the WTI wasn’t already rocketing up before, it’ll be launching into outer space at this rate.

Somehow these idiots are not only murdering everyone for funsies with zero plan, but we’re going to drive the cost up of oil through the roof, which will be a nice lifeline for Russia I suppose, but will also invite attacks on everyone else’s oil infrastructure in the region.

It is quite funny how he attacks Keir Stammer all the time because it actually helps him since Trump is so unpopular on this side of the Atlantic. Also it is factually wrong since we aren't joining the war, we aren't sending two carriers and are only get one ready in case we need it, also 3 more B1 lancers landed at RAF Fairford yesterday.

Trump is trying to convince the markets that it will end soon, but actions talk louder than words, another 3 B-1 Lancers landed at RAF Fairford today.

Is it bad I really want a 'shopped version of W's "mission accomplished" but with Trump and the banner saying "Mission pretty much complete, well mostly" or whatever his previous word salad of the war's over for realsy was.

In total 11 B-1 Lancers and 3 B-52s are now at RAF Fairford, also an assortment of transport aircraft have landed such a Galaxy C-5, multiple C-17s and tonight a C130 Hercules from Rammstein landed there.

I suspect B2s will be used more, although I reckon they'll go to Diego Garcia.

It seems like a lot of effort for something supposed to be ending soon

I'll go back to what I said in one of the various threads after Trump won, as far as the majority of Europe is concerned, the fact America voted him in once is bad, but then you then did it again means there is a high probability a Trump like candidate getting in to the White House again, and thus Europe is making moves to make sure they won't have to rely on America again.

More now from Trump, who says in a lengthy post on Truth Social that "most" Nato allies have said "they don’t want to get involved with our Military Operation" against Iran.

Trump says he is "not surprised by their action" and that he has always considered Nato "to be a one-way street".

He says: "Because of the fact that we have had such Military Success, we no longer 'need,' or desire, the NATO Countries’ assistance — WE NEVER DID! Likewise, Japan, Australia, or South Korea.

"In fact, speaking as President of the United States of America, by far the Most Powerful Country Anywhere in the World, WE DO NOT NEED THE HELP OF ANYONE!"

The post comes after Trump requested the help of Nato allies to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz - which he does not specifically mention in his post.
