"This is normal"Since 2000, when measles was eliminated from US, only three years had higher cases.
There's time.Three days ago, you wrote 258. That's just one new case in three days.
That makes it only one new case since your article three days ago.
The 258 from three days ago was for the regional outbreak. TX, OK, & AZ.That makes it only one new case since your article three days ago.
Thanks. I misread the last article. Updated graph, then:258 was the total cases in the outbreak three days ago, not just limited to Texas. Reported cases in Texas rose from 150 on March 3 to 259 in the most recent announcement March 14.
Again*How long before the rest of the world starts requiring proof of vaccination before allowing Americans to enter the country?
Oh, goody, the upwards curvature is now clearly visible.Thanks. I misread the last article. Updated graph, then:

One REPORTED. You seem to think every case is. It's only when a health care authority who will follow the fucking rules for reporting these things reports it.That makes it only one new case since your article three days ago.
in a region where people don't report cases.
I think that the British have the right idea. Proper documentation, proof of vaccination, microchip and tapeworm treatment, or four months of quarantine once you arrive. How long before the rest of the world starts requiring proof of vaccination before allowing Americans to enter the country?
We Brits haven't yet got to the stage of requiring 'chipping and tapeworm treatments for humans - that's merely for pets - but given Trump and RFKjr, you know I'm thinking that's starting to sound like a good idea.I think that the British have the right idea. Proper documentation, proof of vaccination, microchip and tapeworm treatment, or four months of quarantine once you arrive.
And for good measure, they also required a negative test (only accepted if the test was within 24 hours).Again*
Because Canada sure as heck did during COVID, not sure about our southern border.
And if Americans can't get vaccinated because of the rampant anti-science rhetoric, the governmental cuts, and just a mostly poor population that can't afford health insurance? It's a recipe to lock the entire nation into a deadly petri dishHow long before the rest of the world starts requiring proof of vaccination before allowing Americans to enter the country?
If you watch conservative news, YUP. No reason to talk about this story.Seems fine...
He’s not wrong, if you look at the broad sweep of history and prehistory… it’s just that vaccination, for measles and other nasties, is one of the great achievements of medical science. What’s wrong is discarding those achievements because some nematode is whispering crazy talk into his ear (or, more likely, because he’s a sociopathic grifter)."This is normal"

Just the tip, to see how it feels.I fear this is merely the very tip of the 'finding out' iceberg.
Enough bleach and you definitely won't catch measles.Take more vitamin A and D with a chaser of bleach. Sadly that is what they are probably doing.
This is the way in many countries I would think. I had to provide proof of vaccinations of my daughters when they first went to school. And the idea of being exempted because of personal beliefs as it happens in (some parts of?) the US seems very weird to us. Maybe it's possible but I never heard of it.Once again, in the early seventies , the local school system where I grew up , told parents out right "If you kid is not vaccinated , then he or she is not getting into the school, no exception " Parents had to show doctors proof so that every child was protected from first grade on. That's how it was in the New England states and in my opinion , it should still be that way.
There is "conservative", then there is reactionary fascist Nazi's. One group believes we should proceed slowly and cautiously, vetting changes to make sure they are beneficial (ie beneficial mostly to the current power structure). The other group believes in dictatorial power used primarily to benefit loyal "in group" people. To this mindset "out group" people are entirely disposable. Personally I am very liberal but I have more conservative relatives decrying the overthrow of the GOP by "that fascist moron Trump".Republicans are bad people with blood on their hands. They should be removed from power.
That's the through line. Pretty much every problem we're facing is because conservatives are shitty people with shitty beliefs, making the world worse. Sometimes for personal, short term benefit, but in cases like this it's just going to get their kids sick and maybe dead.
I'm tired of this "oh you have to be polite" and "respect their beliefs". Fuck that. Every conservative should be in the fucking ground before they take us all with them.
100% with you on this. I have ZERO sympathy or forgiveness left in me for anti-vax idiots and/or conservatives anymore. I wish every single one of them would drop dead tomorrow, so that sensible people could take over and start repairing the damage the conservatives have caused and get life back to a normal, sane, and safe state in this country.Republicans are bad people with blood on their hands. They should be removed from power.
