I work with a bunch of people who have family in Florida. Without fail, someone gets COVID after every visit down there. Unless I can get that booster, I'm not setting foot on that swampland ever again. It's probably fine, I've seen Disney World already.

Yeah at first I was puzzled by the definition of "high risk" that included two thirds of the US adult population. But that's the point, innit? Make the antivaxxers happy, harm the non-MAGA minorities with poor healthcare access, and muddy the waters for everyone else. All the while allowing the few slightly rational MAGAts the privilege of checking the "I'm high risk" box on a form at their local pharmacy, regardless of any true medical history based risk assessment.

As someone who is < 65, but still believes that the COVID vaccine (just like the flu vaccine) has helped prevent me from contracting the disease, will we be able to just go to another country to get the booster?
I'm sure COVID is harmless in most people, just like the flu, but just the same I'd like to avoid it and the complications that come from the disease -- my otherwise healthy 13 year old nephew got COVID and ended up with pneumonia bad enough to earn him a stay in the hospital. This was in January and he ended up having to sit out the rest of the athletic season while he recovered.
On second though maybe it doesn't matter, one of the "high risk" behaviors is:
and smoking, current or former.
And I smoked a cigarette once in my 20's, so I already qualify for the booster.

I already know a guy who goes to Thailand for his dental work and glasses. I should just move to Mexico or Thailand or something, start a clinic, and offer a menu of services, or the Full Gringo: $5000 for a colonoscopy, a melanoma check, a full set of dentures, a fresh prescription and set of lenses, a COVID shot, and a year supply of whatever antidepressant, CNS stimulant, anti-anxiety, or anti-psychotic you want.
