Are they rolling out the Anniversary Update in waves? I did "check for updates" a day or two ago and nothing showed up for me. I figured out how to force it if I wanted to, just curious if this was working as intended.
Same here...meanwhile, a friend of mine already has it and hates it. So I assume they must be. Which I find annoying, since if so, there's absolutely zero transparency into the process so I have no idea when to expect it.
How can you hate the Anniversary Update if you are already using Windows 10? It's just a little more polished with some refinements and features added in. Nothing was removed. If anything, it's just a coat of polish.
That's not entirely true. They have taken away the ability to use certain group policy/registry tweaks in the Pro edition and limited those features to Enterprise editions:

Personally, I'm really bummed about not being able to remove the stupid lock screen. That was one of the first things I tweaked. It made no sense to me on a non-touch device.
