Overnight suddenly my laptop got recognized as a "new mac."
I woke it up to see that system preferences no longer recognized VMWare Fusion as having its needed accessibility permissions, and just by logging in it triggered my watch to ask if I should trust this mac and across my devices triggered the "Your Apple ID and phone number are being used for iMessage and FaceTime on a new Mac" stating that if I recently signed in to <name of my Laptop> I could ignore this message.
Why would this be triggered? Should I be scared that someone has hacked into my computer? It's currently powered off and I'm really confused about why it would suddenly think it's new. Usually these messages only happen when I've literally logged into a new mac or I've restored a mac from backup or something.
Please advise.
