I don't really see the draw. Maybe I'm just missing it (it's happened before), but I don't think that's all that useful or exciting. We have had emulators running old games on all kinds of devices for over a decade now, and it's never been a big deal.

Backwards compatibility for all PlayStation games streaming from the servers with no discs needed. That means even though they change the architectural for the PS4 from the PS3 it will still be able to play my PS3 games. That is boss. This will happen. It is how they are going to get around the issue entirely.
