Privacy groups complain to FTC over Facebook privacy tweaks

Fifteen privacy organizations filed a complaint with the FTC this week over Facebook's latest privacy policy changes. The groups say that the company is engaging in unfair and deceptive practices and is in violation of consumer protection laws.

I don't understand. No one is forcing you* at gunpoint to use Facebook. If you don't like the changes, delete your account and move on.

*This is a generic 'you', not aimed at anyone in particular.

the one thing though is that it is nearly impossible to actually delete your profile there. disable? easy enough. but to permanently delete is another matter.
