I can see the logic. If we were actually going to launch a retaliatory or first strike, you could argue having sophisticated ai models to help figure out in real time where to maximize impact while minimizing Armageddon would maybe be good.
Someone somewhere is sitting in a classified bunker thinking about this shit. A law should prevent and discourage it from going further than that.
