It really seems like this wasn't needed, especially with the acquisition terminated and the $2.8B pay-out they'll receive from that termination. Netflix subscribers are getting fucked, just for fun.
EDIT: Also, Netflix COULD be reached for comment. They just decided not to not comment. Don't give them an out. Instead, highlight that they chose to keep their mouth shut, like a coward.
