Guys. I'm trying to breathe life back into a circa 2003 computer to use for older games. Right now I have a ATI Rage 128, 32mb card that's seen much better days. It's quite flakey and needs replacing.

So I'm trying to find an AGP video card that will work in an MSI K7T Pro2 board, seen here:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K7T-Pro2. ... div=Detail

Here are the board's video card specs:

Slots:

• One AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) slot.
- AGP specification compliant
- Supports AGP 1x/2x/4x

Cheap, including shipping, is good. Absolutely and completely functional is a must.

Please PM/email me at Jammer53ATgmailDOTcom if you have anything collecting dust. Thanks!

Stupid suggestion, but how old are the games you want to play? If they are DOS-era, you can always use DOSBox :)

Not dumb at all. Basically the ones I could play that would have to run in compatablity mode on today's machines.

Think Call of Duty 1 and 2, Max Payne, Command and Conquer, etc.

Buschman, be with you shortly.

Jammer, I've got an X850 Pro 256 MB. It requires a spare 4-pin power plug. It's yours for shipping, if nothing else in the thread tickles your fancy.

Also, if I could piggyback on your thread....

I'm also in the market for a basic AGP card for my son's Shuttle PC. I only require that it doesn't need external power (hence why the X850 that I have won't work :p), and that it's AGP. If it's got a passive cooler, all the better.

Whatever Jammer doesn't want, I might be interested in :p

brodie,

I've got an eVGA 256A8N341 256MB AGP Geforce 6200 here that's keyed for universal AGP operation. It doesn't have a power connector or heatsink fan (passive only).

I'll do an even trade for that X850 if you're interested. I'll test it before shipping; it worked fine last time I used it.
