These exclusive streaming platforms generally suck. Paramount+ and Peacock are the bane of my existence for football (soccer). Watching the Champions League or PL on any delay is a gamble. If I start watching UCL late and want to watch on 60 minutes delay (I have to work on Tuesday/Wednesday) there is a good chance it’ll crap out at some point. It always blames a disconnect on my router or wifi even though I’m wired to ethernet. (The true reason is their live streaming coverage ended and they killed the live stream even to delayed viewers.)Then I will not be able to watch any of it until they get around to posting the replay hours later. YTTV doesn’t have this issue with DVR content but they sucked for years until they got the “Start at Beginning” option down pretty solid.

Ouch! Audio sync issues and in the wrong direction! If sync's going to be off, it should always err on video first sync issue, because that's the way our brains are "wired" for (for seeing and hearing distant events like lightning strikes or land slides I mean). Hearing and then seeing? That's uncanny and far more jarring.

Yeah, a 5-second delay between video and audio would tell me that the game was being played about a mile away from me. :)
