One question:

Why isn't it Terry Crews?

Ah, nostalgia.

I’ll...hang on a tick! It's déjà vu all over again.

I was a bit too old for He-Man when it came out, so never really watched it, but I'm totally looking forward to this. Looks like brainless fun, can't wait.
If you were too old before but aren't too old now...Benjamin Button, I presume.

Enjoyed the cartoon and rewatched the 80s movie way more than any sane person should, but I have no particular fondness for the character and this isn't even trying for anything other than a nostalgia play. Plus at some point we stopped trying to make CGI look convincing, so most of this trailer looks terrible.

Those were my thoughts as well. CGI feces fest with nothing making me feel like I must see this. In fact it really makes me want to watch the 80's movie again for the camp.

I see also that the good idea fairies have changed the Maltese Cross on He Mans chest to ....I don't know what. I guess they didn't want stupid audiences to complain about the 'iron cross' on He Mans chest.

The severe budget limitations of the '87 film made for a very weird and entertaining movie, in hindsight (though it disappointed a legion of young kids). If it was competent for the time I think it'd probably be forgotten, but just like the Mario movie, the craziness of it endures.
This trailer for me looks borderline AI-generated, like a fanmade trailer. He literally sits there and just namedrops his allies. They really want you to know they aren't discarding the source material like last time.

I can't really say I was a fan of He-man. I watched it, but mostly because there wasn't much else to watch in that time slot. It gave me strong "how the fuck can't you idiots tell Adam is He-man?" vibes like I got with Superman, only more-so since Superman didn't have a giant green talking tiger as a pet to stand in for an all terrain vehicle. And it was campy enough to be mildly entertaining.

This movie apparently does have one thing that fucked-up 80's live-action movie adaptation didn't have - Adam changing into He-man. That was like a "had to happen 20 times per episode recycling that material endlessly to keep the costs down" thing that, IIRC, wasn't done ONCE in the 80's movie.

Instead we had Teela wondering why the chicken pieces from the cut-rate KFC had sticks in it. Some things are so horrific in movie-making they stick with you. Like PTSD...

I won't be seeing this in the theater, of course, but if it hits Prime, I may take a peek. I DO like camp.

I wish Hollywood would come up with new ideas instead of rehashing old ideas. It seems like these days they have completely run out of new ideas so they just keep remaking old ideas. Let the past be the past, because remakes are never as good as the original IMO. Show some creativity and come up with new stuff, please.
