The person who told me during my internship that I would get the permanent job I wanted if he had anything to say about it is the same person who paid to air TV commercials saying I rape children.

Eich made a $1,000 donation to Proposition 8 in 2008, with his private, personal money, on his private, personal time... so he had to be cancelled.

Proposition 8 won at the ballot box. More Californians voted for it than against it. But having supported it is now grounds for cancellation.

...and the witch-hunt continues, 14 years later.

And $2,100 to Tom McClintock, who supported prop 8, as well as to Linda Smith (not sure of the amount), so quoting that $1000 figure is disingenuous.

Tom McClintock is the current U.S. congressman for the California 4th district.

What you are saying is that it is fair to cancel the CEO of Mozilla (Firefox) because he donated $2,100 of his personal money to a sitting federal politician.

Consider the implications of your justification for getting people dismissed from their jobs.
