How to ensure that users are migrated from expired Office licenses to active ones?

So, my organization uses Office 365 via Azure AD, and we have a pack of E3 licenses that is expired, but still in the grace period. We purchased another pack of licenses to replace it, but I don't see a way to migrate users from one pack to another, or even to see when a particular user's license expires. Is there any action I need to take to ensure our users do not have an interruption in services?
