I've always thought the HDMI connector itself wasn't very well designed. The connection to my PS3 is quite visible (although not that I particularly care) only because my TV has 3 HDMI inputs,two of which are vertical. I use the one at the side because the cable plugs in horizontally (i.e. perpendicular to the panel) and is less likely to fall out that way - for a simple cable, most video connectors have a decent amount of weight in them.<BR><BR>FWIW, I think the HDMI plug should've used the twin-thumbscrews you find on DVI and VGA connectors instead.
