Google’s new command line tool can plug OpenClaw into your Workspace data

I'm happy to see a CLI-based tool for manipulating Workspace data via deterministic scripts. I've often wanted such a thing when doing repetitive tasks.
Pfft, why would you want a hands-off tool to do exactly what you told it to do, every time, without fail?

Spice up your workflow, dude! Live a little! You gotta feel the vibe!

This is an odd turnaround by Google from nearly 2 weeks ago, when folks were complaining about about being outright banend after paying a full annual subscription to Google, because they used OpenClaw. Posting responses from Google stating the the use of Openclaw violated ToS and the account owners were SOL:

I'm guessing money changed hands, and now they're cool with it.

This isn't correct. Users were banned for a workaround that allowed them to connect OpenClaw to Antigravity (a fixed rate service) and bypass API fees. People who connected to OpenClaw via the API were never banned as far as I can tell.

The thought of connecting OpenClaw to it makes me throw up in my mouth a little.
But... LLMs are NOT deterministic, they're probabilistic at best, or am I missing something?

I’ve been using the open-source GAM project for a long time to mange Google Workspace from a command line. I wonder whether this new CLI could be a usable official replacement for GAM for mere mortal sysadmins on a day-to-day basis, or if like MgGraph it’ll be so abstruse as to require programming tools or AI.

Have you tried GAM. It's been around for over a decade, open source.
