This could make it easier to plug AI into Workspace APIs, but it's not yet an official Google product.

Pfft, why would you want a hands-off tool to do exactly what you told it to do, every time, without fail?I'm happy to see a CLI-based tool for manipulating Workspace data via deterministic scripts. I've often wanted such a thing when doing repetitive tasks.

The thought of connecting OpenClaw to it makes me throw up in my mouth a little.
Deleted is far from the worse that can happen.Countdown to a flood of stories about people’s entire gmails and google drives being deleted starting now.
May? I'd put money it doesn't exist at the end of 2027.Even if you like the idea of this, think twice before building serious or mission-critical workflows around it.
It may end up in Google's graveyard...
I'm guessing money changed hands, and now they're cool with it.This is an odd turnaround by Google from nearly 2 weeks ago, when folks were complaining about about being outright banend after paying a full annual subscription to Google, because they used OpenClaw. Posting responses from Google stating the the use of Openclaw violated ToS and the account owners were SOL:

The command line is hot again.
This isn't correct. Users were banned for a workaround that allowed them to connect OpenClaw to Antigravity (a fixed rate service) and bypass API fees. People who connected to OpenClaw via the API were never banned as far as I can tell. This is an odd turnaround by Google from nearly 2 weeks ago, when folks were complaining about about being outright banend after paying a full annual subscription to Google, because they used OpenClaw. But... LLMs are NOT deterministic, they're probabilistic at best, or am I missing something?I'm happy to see a CLI-based tool for manipulating Workspace data via deterministic scripts. I've often wanted such a thing when doing repetitive tasks.

They mean that you could simply choose to use it with deterministic scripting. The AI tool integration is optional (but clearly encouraged).But... LLMs are NOT deterministic, they're probabilistic at best, or am I missing something?
Have you tried GAM. It's been around for over a decade, open source.I'm happy to see a CLI-based tool for manipulating Workspace data via deterministic scripts. I've often wanted such a thing when doing repetitive tasks.
