Our govt is literally controlled by oligarchs like Musk. Our laws are pre-written by cadres of corporate lawyers who then hand them directly to lawmakers to pass. The US govt is mostly, if not wholly, captured by a kleptocracy. All this points to a major flaw in Musk's reasoning that if people want more censorship they will pass laws to enforce it. He knows better.

It's not transphobic though. I have no problem with men dressing as ladies. To each his own. Just don't force me to pretend you are a woman.

Nobody's forcing you to pretend anything. We are expecting you to accede to reality. Trans women are not men dressing as ladies. They are women. You should treat them as women. Because you really, really don't know better than doctors, psychologists, neurologists, and others who have established the objective facts of this issue, and who have established broad and durable consensus that trans women are women. You'll have to justify dehumanizing, harassing, and denying trans women their rights some other way.

Your make-believe universe where we all have to pretend that a MAN with a big fat phallus under his pant is a woman is far from being reality. Get out of the Matrix and face the truth. I'll step in here and say gender as it's own thing isn't a concept to the average joe. In common conversation, most people treat "man" as "adult male" and "woman" as "adult female."

Fair enough. That's probably so. But once one person explains it to you one time, I would think that'd be all that's needed. It's like having someone explain why abortion has to be legal, because women deserve human rights. After the first time, you're like "Oh. I hadn't considered that. I guess you're right." There isn't a valid logical argument against allowing trans women to be women. People exist on a spectrum of gender, with several axis. It's just not binary.
