Not sure why, but I had a rough time using one of the codes for a Dell laptop from last week's article. Dell's website took the discount; I got a confirmation email with the discount indicated. But eventually had to cancel the order because the credit card charge 2 days later was for the non-discounted amount. Too bad. Would have been a cheap laptop replacement for my wife.

Dear Dealmaster:

I write you to ask if these are deals or alternative deals. You know, like alternative facts. It seems to me that we have lost our way to what a deal actually is. Some of these alternative deals are actually retail prices I can get anywhere.
ie PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB Console Destiny 2 Bundle (White) for $449.
HTC VIVE VR Reality System for $599.
I would like to warn you that if this trend continues, these articles will continue to be useless.
