Contrary to popular opinion here, in the minds of their demographic the opposite of "woke" is not "anti-woke" or "racist", it's just not woke.

Bullshit. If you're not a part of the solution, you're a part of the problem.

And what does non-woke content look like? Be specific as to what exactly would make something not woke.

Thank You, that's exactly what I'm saying. If extremely inoffensive offends you then you won't like the channel. It will be hated for what's not there.

If their programming contains only cis-het relationships and all-white casts but for a token minority who doesn't actually have any ethnic characteristics other than their skin color, yeah, I guess it'll be hated for what's not there. But that's not extremely inoffensive. Pretending that people who make you uncomfortable don't exist is offensive to those people as well as plenty of the rest of us.

you do know that it is human nature to not want to be around people who make you uncomfortable. it's literally part of humanity to want to be around people you find comfortable and not around people you find uncomfortable. I don't know why we think we can engineer this out of ourselves. it's very weird to me that people even try. You also realize that disliking someone because they don't approve of some arbitrary behavior is the same as disliking someone because they do approve of some arbitrary behavior? You can dislike someone and also support their right to do whatever they want.

People do not and should not have a right to media that doesn't contain black people or gay people because they find those people's mere existence offensive.

That kind of garbage perpetuates racism, sexism, and homophobia. People are more comfortable with people different from themselves when they actually get to know them. Hence why people in big, multicultural cities tend to be a lot less racist than people who never leave the 95% white rural towns they grew up in.

Correct, I do understand that its only ok for white people to be hated for being white. It's always amusing to me how racism by non-whites around the ENTIRE planet is excused or even celebrated. Racism literally has come to mean "white people not liking other races" not it's true evil of judging people by their skin color. but really, it's just another example of Western Liberals thinking they can impose their position on everyone else. It's literally the new colonialism.

That's absolute nonsense. White supremacy is America's biggest racism problem. Our entire history is steeped in it.

But if you think Western Liberals won't call out other kinds of racism when they see it, you're wrong. Japan, for example. A lot of racism there. And of course there are minorities in the US that are racist towards other minorities. The difference is that they don't have the power that whites in this country do to turn their racism into structural harms.
