CDC contradicts RFK Jr. by still recommending COVID vaccine for kids

I'm sure it's just a formatting issue and not an actual disagreement:

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked by reporters about the nonexistent studies Thursday and said the report would be updated.

"I understand there was some formatting issues with the MAHA report that are being addressed and the report will be updated," Leavitt said during the White House briefing.

Who to believe? Qualified epidemiologists who've worked at the CDC for decades since gaining their medical degrees? Or an arts major and sometime lawyer with worms for brains who swims in sewage? Choices, choices...

Edit: RFK Jr got over 750,000 votes in 2024, despite pulling out of the race, and who knows how many voted for Trump because of his endorsement. Somehow, as a society, we've got to a place where this, incredibly, is an actual dilemma for some people.

Rats! I was hoping this was open refusal to bend to arbitrary, authoritarian caprice.
That is what's needed: intelligent, committed civil disobedience and refusal to cooperate with arbitrary, authoritarian caprice.

Standing up for democracy & reason, on principle, is likely the only way USA will stave off social and economic collapse (perhaps even civil war).

Maybe we can replace the dead brain worm with a live worm with a degree from Harvard medical school? That way all parties involved could come out ahead -- a Win-Win all around (maybe even for the worm).

The President of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) put out a statement shortly after the Tuesday video, saying that the organization was "extremely disappointed" with Kennedy's announcement.
I imagine the brits would have burned him a new one if this was on their watch.

Thanks, all you Republican House and Senate members, for not having a single vertebra amongst you.

May you catch whatever foul illnesses RFK, Jr. is going to spawn - and may you choke on your own bodily fluids begging for a vaccine that doesn't exist because of your cowardice and stupidity. A pox on all your houses.

What a complete, self-induced, cluster fuck.
I need some help smithing a word or phrase that means "unforced error" but with the raw vehemence of a "clusterfuck". I'm lightly inclined to keep it simple and just go with "unforced clusterfuck" but I feel this misses the opportunity for some real creativity.

His 'report' was based on AI non-existent studies. Strangely enough.
Not sure if I can give a link but here it is:
https://cybernews.com/news/white-house-health-report-ai-hallucinations/

And here is the title just in case:
AI at play? White House health report cited non-existent studies
I think people are confusing cause and effect here.
The AI nonexistent studies were quite clearly based on RFK Jr's rough draft -- or more likely on the outline -- of the report.

I am sure the Germans have a word or two we could use.

The Biden administration jumped the shark with COVID already as they said it is no longer an issue. If I end up having to pay out of pocket for my family, we will, as you certainly can't rely on the government to do the right thing. (350 a week are still dying)

That's not what he said, so please stop lying and spreading misinformation. Here's the quote from the CBS interview.

"The pandemic is over. We still have a problem with COVID, we're still doing a lot of work on it, but the pandemic is over."

Notice, he did not say it was no longer an issue. Please rinse your brain out with bleach after watching Fox News and then coming here to comment.

Way this man's carrying on, I just may walk away with the entire pharmacy.
Get while the gettin's good. If the "every accusation is a confession" pattern holds true, the vaccines next year will make frogs gay and implant a tracker in you.

Why? We aren't laughing.
At least, not because it's funny. ('Hysteria' is not the same as 'humor'.)
I was more thinking "sans comédie", you're right. Not sure there's a good font for stuff that's all spite, with a solid sprinkling of AI generated nonsense (tariff rates set with idiotic formula, health care advisories with non-existing references, etc.)
