Eh, not sure about that timing thing. If they're under a lot more pressure than usual, accidents have a higher chance of occurring, and I'd wager that any 'accident' in a refinery, by its nature, would be more serious than not.
It’s being reported as equipment failure now, and I’m glad that my bitter cynicism was wrong. I don’t always like that I look for the worst.

Yeah when almost every pipe in many kilometres of piping on site is highly flammable gas or liquid, even minor accidents escalate into major situations very quickly. Hopefully it is just an accident, the right of politics dont need anything they can turn into more racist sentiment.

I'll say this much: absolutely nothing in that article surprises me in any way. Except for the quotes from people - former staffers, members, candidates - who appear to have the expectation that One Nation is a well organised, functional party that adheres to democratic values, exhibits honesty and deals in good faith. I mean, honestly, how fucking naïve can you be?
