OK, here's what we do: Give him the data. In EBCDIC sent over via IPoAC. No, we don't offer tech or veterinary support.

Hell, it would probably take him weeks to figure out what the acronyms mean.
Oh god, I worked on an overseas government project, and the database was in Arabic ebcdic… I am old enough to have cut my teeth running big iron, but in English. Luckily we found a Java library that hid that turning it into utf-8, as I imagined the number of edge cases we’d have to solve (and even recognizing an edge was non-trivial). So to get their conspiracy brains to melt, make it Chinese EBCDIC…

It really is the middle ages all over again. Makes me wonder how many of the rumors of beasts in the forest and the need for churches to keep people safe were just perpetrated by the "nobles".

Reminds me of a favorite quote:

Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.

All headlines regarding the Anus administration should end with "…and Americans do nothing to stop it."

The greatest puzzle of holocaust, atrocity, and mass suicide is how so many look on and do nothing. We outnumber the enemy literally millions to one, and can stop of all of this any time we decide to do so.

For 14 years, I've wondered how a box cutter waved in the air ultimately killed $3,000 people, did $3.3 trillion in property damage, and permanently and radically altered the world's most power nation for the worse. Did those who could easily have stopped it tell themselves, "Nothing to worry about. I'll be one of those who survive?" Three people could have put a stop to it, and had the rest of their lives to tell people how they got a scar.

Not that simple. Passengers on one of the planes did fight back. They stopped it hitting the target, but everyone on board still died. (I'm assuming you intended to say 24 years.)

Kennedy alleges that data is missing from the VSD database,
Yup, it's missing data all right. The data he's going to fabricate and put there. Because he's right, and therefore if the data doesn't agree, the data is wrong, and the proof has been hidden or deleted. So of course he has to make it up, since he couldn't possibly be wrong!

You haven't been able to find the answer in all this time? There's a thing called Google you may be interested in. Before those attacks, historically airplane hijackings were not weaponized. Hijackers would tell everyone to remain calm, they'd direct the plane to some airport somewhere, and they'd trade the lives of the passengers for some their demands. There was no reason for passengers to conceive that the craft they were on was going to be involved with killing thousands of people and no reason to cause a struggle. This has been understood and talked about for nearly a quarter century.

Also, what were you doing for the other decade since those attacks?

The missing data will be used as proof of a conspiracy. Just like I've analyzed all the ars comments and can't find one post by this Cthulhu, so that means Ars is secretly working with Cthulhu and suppressing the evidence.

Republicans: government is terrible. Here, let us show you how by making it that way.
That has been the long term strategy by a significant portion of the Republican party. Degrade government as a means of pointing out that government is ineffective and should be cut back.

As a terminal prostate cancer patient that was given Lupron in the beginning of my treatment I can't fathom giving it to anybody, especially children, because of the extreme side effects unless medically justified. I was given shots every 90 days for three years in the beginning along with radiation. It caused irreversible changes to my body and none of them positive. I'm a 7 1/2 year survivor currently recovering from my second major surgery.

My first surgery was in November of 2023 and the follow up prognosis was a 70% chance of surviving another two years. This time I wasn't given a prognosis; my doctors said "We have no idea how much more time this will buy you". Lupron alters hormones including stopping production of estrogen in women and testosterone in men. How, in any way, could giving Lupron stop autism? Such medical quackery should result in lengthy incarceration at the very least.

The way of the world already does its own analysis. Sometimes we live up with the USA. Sometimes we don’t. Case in point would be that the TGA in Australia regulates medical devices and implants. They’ll typically wait a while after the FDA and use the results coming in from widespread use of things before making their own judgement. Personally I know of a thing that was a couple of years from common use in the states to acceptance in Australia.

The boffins who regulate medicines globally know their stuff and if the data out of the USA is not worth using they’ll find other data to base their decisions on.
I'm pretty sure they'll , from now on, use negative weighting when taking results coming from official US institutions , into account.

The box cutter crew were able to pull it off because prior to that hijackings ended up being resolved somewhere when that plane actually lands. They hadn't used them as missiles to attack buildings before 9/11. In fact later in the day some passengers did take matters into their hands, and while they all perished, that plane never reached its target.

Want to know why people don't storm the gates in revolution? Because they have lives to live, families, expenses, and most are a missed paycheck or two from homelessness. You also have a huge chunk of the country who just aren't the brightest bulbs in the box, they voted for Trump, they think other countries pay tariffs, they think their current problems are because of old senile Joe Brandon. Telling someone upset with this to revolt and let their kid go without a parent for the greater good is a bit of a shit thing to do.

The missing data ... I have visions of these morons going back to Al Capone's vault claiming it's hidden there. These chucklefucks know damn well there's no missing data, the claim is just part of their shameless grift.

For those of you not old enough to remember the 1980s, there wasn't anything in Al Capone's vault.
.... But it wasn't Geraldo's fault 🎶

When this 'study' and its foregone conclusions are released, thousands of antivax parents with autistic children will have extra arguments to sue pharma companies. And lawyers like Kennedy and Aaron Siri will be there, ready to accept their money. They'll be like the Andrew Wakefield of lawyers .
THIS is how the vaccines will become harder or even too hard to get. It's not necessary to "ban" anything. It's all about sabotaging, undermining, discouraging, twisting and slandering. Until both using and producing them becomes too much of a task. Too legally risky, too expensive, too much hassle.

Again a move against science, against rational thinking and decision making.
It is as if nearly every action of this government was aimed at making the USA poorer, sicker, weaker, more divided - at a breathtaking pace.
I normally can live quite well with either progressive or conservative governments, having voted for both in the past.
But this administration is is only conservative on paper.
What is currently going on in the U.S. is aggressive destruction of established pillars of society without any visible will to create a replacement.
Economy, science, international relations, social security, wealth (of the 99%) - all are under attack by the current GOP/MAGA mutation.
If destruction is not their only target, I honestly wonder, what they try to achieve.
The plainly intended replacement is an oligarchic, "christian" fundamentalist, techno-feudalist society.

While most of the actors behind this agenda are not interested in all three legs of this tripod, many have been fairly explicit about the leg or two that motivates their own involvement in the loose coalition pushing that agenda.

Ahh, but they're looking for the missing data. Which they'll no doubt claim to have found, and will be believed by those inclined to do so.

It's all theatre and grift.
Pretty sure that's the plan.

There it is, Big Vac is manipulating data! It should be there and clearly showing that it causes autism.

That's the thing though. The data is already publicly accessible, and has been for decades. The accusation Robert F Wormbrain Kennedy Jr is making is that there's missing data that was intentionally removed, when no such thing has happened.
All common conspiracies are fundamentally based on the fact that there are no facts to support them, is proof of the conspiracy. We can't prove that reptilian humanoids are actually running everything, because they have very cunningly hid all the evidence. Same for the hollow/flat Earth and every other demented delusion that the insane anti-science crowd has imagined.

Republicans: government is terrible. Here, let us show you how by making it that way.
With some edits, you have an axiom for every Republican.

Republican government is terrible. Don't ever let them show you but keep them far away by never ever voting voting for a Republican.
