Melissa DeRosa, a former top aide to disgraced ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, has split from her husband, The Post has learned.

DeRosa and spouse Matthew Wing — who met while working side by side in Cuomo’s communications office — are getting divorced and selling their Brooklyn Heights apartment, sources close to them said Friday.

“They simply grew apart, and they have been living apart for a year,” a friend said.

“Their marriage broke down over time, and it was exacerbated during COVID, when they wound up in separate places. … Melissa spent time in Albany, and Matt works for Uber and spent some time in San Francisco,” the source said.

The pair’s swank, three-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex in a 19th-century Pierrepont Street brownstone hit the market late Friday afternoon with an asking price of $2.59 million.

They bought the place for $2.2 million shortly after marrying in 2016.

“The Brooklyn house was often empty. But they remain friends,” the source added.

DeRosa resigned from her job in August, when the Cuomo administration imploded amid sex-harassment allegations against him.

DeRosa, 39, and Wing, 38, don’t have any kids, but in 2019 she tweeted a photo of him preparing a fertility shot so she could freeze her eggs for in vitro fertilization later.

In a joint statement, DeRosa and Wing said, “Despite the fact that this chapter in our lives is ending, we are and always will be very close friends.”

DeRosa “has been staying at her sister’s house in Cape Cod” since late August and is “eyeing property in Greenwich Village,” sources said.

The couple began discussing divorce in the late spring after “they decided that the marriage had run its course,” a source said.

They hashed out an agreement over the summer, the source said, but online court records don’t show a divorce filing in New York state.

DeRosa, whose father is powerhouse Albany lobbyist Giorgio DeRosa, is being represented by lawyer Robert S. Cohen, whose clients have included Melinda Gates, Ivana Trump and the late “Sopranos” actor James Gandolfini.

Wing is being represented by lawyer Sheila Riesel, whose clients have included Al Pacino and Woody Allen, and who’s appeared three times before the US Supreme Court.

Wing’s parents are former Manhattan US Attorney Audrey Strauss and leading white-collar defense lawyer John “Rusty” Wing.
