Hmm, sounds to me like a weird half-baked streaming solution that would only be really useful in some niche cases.
Why don't they just put more effort into miracast? Google would be the prime candidate to release a good solid miracast dongle as most of the ones (if you can find them) on the market right now are even more half-baked (quarter-baked?)
The only thing that stands out to me is the part about being able to do other things while the stream is playing. But for the most part if I'm playing something on the tablet or computer that I want on the TV, I'm not usually very interested in doing other things at the same time.
