Good to see Apple finally admit the demand for larger phones exists. It'll be nice to see a side by side by side between the 6 Plus, the Note 4, and the Lumia 1520 since those will be the best representation of the three OS's large screen phones.

I bought a netbook when they were so small they were cute. Then they grew into smallish laptops, which ended them as a concept.

Since phones are now entering the space occupied by tablets, a new small device is needed, so that can in turn grow to unwieldy proportions.

Keep an eye out for 5 inch smart watches.

When it comes to Apple, this is what they call 'inovation'. These are truly revolutionary screen sizes.

No it wont, it'll fit just fine even with a case, unless you wear skinny jeans.

Look, lots of us may not be interested in a phone this size, but there's definitely a market for them. This may especially be so in countries where disposable income isn't such that many people can afford to own multiple computing devices. A large phone can substitute for a PC as well as serving as both a phone and tablet.

The 4/S is about when they hit it perfect on design. The 5 stretched the screen to the limits of comfortable one-handed use. Even the small 6 is bigger than an already slightly uncomfortable phone. Hence the decision to pass.

(That aside, I'd be getting less use out of Facetime since the phone doesn't have any flat edges to rest it on...)

Just compared my 4S to the 6... I might be upgrading to a 5S instead of the 6. The difference is width is bigger than I thought it'd be.
