Here, it says that

Which is it? This is a pretty huge difference, and would seriously impact my upgrade schedule.

2700mAh seems very probably, 3700mAh would just be too big.

The camera is pretty rad but I was hoping for more innovations, not just them finally adding the Moto Voice system and Moto Gesture support they helped develop while Mobility was still under their development arm. I guess it is good more phones are getting these features, I dunno how I could live without them anymore. They change the way I use my phone.

It's a typo on the blog. Checking the live feed (approx 41 min mark on this CNet Video), the presenter says it has a a 2700mAh battery.

If you have a SDHC slot, 16gbytes are fine.

I just put a 64g card in my phone for $21. Amazing how cheap flash is these days....at least on memory cards.

It's right where the Motorola dimple is on my Moto X, and my finger quickly became accustomed to resting there. After a week with the device, I suspect you'll quickly and easily find it for unlocking, even though it's on the back instead of the front.

Well this doesn't have an SD slot now does it? :p

SD is very nice but not optimal. You still end up with a space crunch from apps at 16gb even if all your media is on the card. That said, I'd love an SD card slot even on a 128gb phone. The readers cost like $2; kinda crazy not to put it there.

Bad news, competing phones give you the same or better for less money.

There's always pros and cons to various phones; price is only one factor.

Can you give an example of a phone with 32GB that you think is a better value? The Moto X Pure offers 32GB for $449, so it's slightly more.

Well, I've been with my Nexus 5 since launch and even had a Nexus 6 for a week. It looks like it is time to look elsewhere for my next phone. It seems like the Moto X line might be the best choice.

The Nexus 5X just isn't much of an upgrade over the 5. I'd basically be getting it for a fresh battery and a fingerprint sensor that I don't really care much about.

That's why I decided to move away from Nexus (also battery life has been an issue for me). I like to load my phone with various kinds of music before going on travel with limited streaming access, and the onboard memory makes me waste too much time selecting which music to bring ... (and of course I always have second thoughts afterwards). Unfortunately it is my understanding that manufacturer are moving away from sd-card readers. I am leaning toward the new moto X now.

Not crazy when you consider Google's goals of getting as much of your data as possible into the cloud - preferably theirs.

Really, really, really hope they've finally got the camera right this time. The pictures a phone takes is about the only thing a normal person really remembers about that phone in a year or two.

Apple understands this that's why their phone cameras are top-notch, apparently Samsung gets it now as well. Let's hope Google and all the other Android OEMs will get it in the coming year (especially Sony, the pictures taken by Z2 is a shameful atrocity).

if no, I'll be sorely tempted to jump ship for the 5..
The FCC documents for the 5X and 6P show that they work with all 4 major network's bands, including Verizon:

They reportedly won't be sold in stores though, only via Google's site:

I have a 8GB Nexus 4 still and have yet to fill it up. I'd love to pay less for less storage.

EDIT: Correction, I have the 8GB. Yep, still not full. I don't keep my entire music collection on it.

Doesn't Android M let you combine both internal and external storage into a single pool?

OnePlus One, OnePlus two, nexus 6, and at least the moto x pure has an SD slot. I'm sure there are others, but that's on the top of my head.

You've been able to put apps on SD cards for years if you wanted to, but they run terribly.

I carry my music around with me on my phone--I prefer to avoid relying on streaming services, since my signal is pretty much garbage at both home and work. I have at least 16GB worth of music at any given time, so I'd have difficulty with a 16GB phone. 32GB would probably be fine, but it would be even better if I had an SD card to work with.

On the other hand, SD cards have effectively been the least-reliable storage medium I've experienced in recent memory, especially on my current phone (A Galaxy Note 2), where the FAT on the SD card occasionally gets corrupted, at which point I have to reload my music collection.

Except there is still some part of every app, however small, that cannot move to the SD card, so eventually you run out of memory and have to start "app management", which sucks. Sure, I only use that app once a month, but I don't want to delete something else to load it once a month to use it, I just want to leave it on the phone and forget about it. This is especially frustrating when your main memory is full and your SD card has tons of available space. Bottom line: SD cards are nice, but you can never have too much main storage.
