This sounds like a victory as it is wrong to "filter" the Internet.It is a violation of personal rights.
I hope we do not have SOPA/PIPA passed in the USA.

They'll be vetoed even if they do pass congress.

I"m not so sure about that. His appointments have had a horrible track record in regards to copyright.

Biden is tucked firmly in the back pocket of the content industries too. I wouldn't be so sure that Obama would veto the bill if it made it to his desk, given the makeup of this administration.
