Mystic Spearhand is amazing, especially loved the mini charged paralyze spell for regular mobs and the longer charged version for big baddies.

Trickster on the other hand was a thing. I used basically the aoe taunt and the aoe pawn buff then kind of ran in circles. Definitely bring straightforward pawns when leveling the class, you want the most aggressive pawns possible

Thank you, @nquinnell, for your "sacrifice". I shall not tarry once I get to the end game (which I have diligently avoiding any spoilers for - so far).

I've been playing the mystic spearhand vocation and my impression is that it's more of a melee support class, if that makes sense. There's an independent charge attack that can be used for crowd control but it takes a while to charge up to the 3rd stage, and there's a timing window involved as well. Luckily, you can keep charging the ability while doing order attacks and skills. There's also a gap-closer attack that you can use as a travesal mechanic, and several melee + magic damage skills. But the piece de resistance of mystic spearhand is the shielding mechanic that negates ALL damage.

In other news, I finally noticed the shortcuts witht the d-pad when you hold the L1 button. Finally, no more menus to light or extinguish my lantern, consume health items, or consume stamina items.

I also found the Frontier Shrine with 5 locked chests. Are these related to the Sphinx quest (whom I have not yet found)?

I know that they have "timed missions" where if you don't actually intercede, events play out regardless. I'm just surprised they'd do something like that in end game.
I went and looked it up.
For the Unmoored World, you have 12 sleeps of time. Each sleep will advance time, and will allow the fog to devour more land.

If you kill all the beacons, then the fog won't advance, but you STILL only have 12 sleeps before the world ends. Yes, technically, you can not sleep, and the world will continue, but your sleep debt and injury bar will still collect, and vendors won't re-stock.

If I'd known this, I would have just focused on getting the beacons done, then doing the other quests, and getting to the ultimate bad guy. But I didn't. I slept 12 times, and boom, endgame, and it saves your game before it starts, so you can't go back to Day 11.

it's a little too late for your first foray there(rip), but there's a way to get your party's max hp refreshed without using rests and advancing the clock.

You can dismiss the hired pawns and rehire them to reset their HP. For the main pawn you can just chuck off a cliff to make them get downed and let it tick down. Hitting a stone will resummon them back with full rested max health

For you Arisen it will take a consumable, either just dying and using a wakestone or the Allheal elixirs will restore max hp too

I didn't hit this issue in my run through but must have been very close cause I didn't know it was a thing either

Found the Sphinx!

Second riddle is stumping me. I'm not romancing anyone!!!! Is there a specific person? Madness and love being two sides of the same coin, and all that jazz. Going to have to uproot the portcrystal I had put down at the arbour to put it where the Sphinx is.
I just said my pawn. It was accepted.
