Table for two: Our favorite two-player board games

You mean Castles of Bore-gundy, amiright? No, no, I kid. I can understand how someone might enjoy sinking their time into a game I affectionately refer to as Expensive Yahtzee, it just didn't work for me and my wife. Fortunately, I found it another home where I'm sure it is getting the love many...

Table for one: How to play board games without a group

Another good source for iOS, and some Android, board games is the iOS Board Games blog on BGG. Check out their "best of" posts from the end of the year for a good review of the scene. http://boardgamegeek.com/blog/164/ios-board-games

Table for one: How to play board games without a group

CardWarden (iOS) is another good option for card game fans. I've used it to take LotR:LCG with me on many trips. There's some work (scanning, etc.) required, but definitely worth being able to play on the go.

I watched Star Trek: The Original Series in order, and so can you

"I haven't yet finished Deep Space 9 or Voyager or, God help me, Enterprise" Bite your tongue! Enterprise was actually a pretty good series. Just skip the theme song.

Exposed Ashley Madison members targeted by scammers and extortionists

Of course women will be affected. And I read the email you posted. Yeah, it's a sad story, but only made worse by the fact that she made a poor choice, which she admits to. If she's so unhappy, she should get a divorce. Would she look bad divorcing a guy with cancer? Possibly. Was having an...

Exposed Ashley Madison members targeted by scammers and extortionists

Haha, yes, we poor men, throughout history always being held to task for the way we treat our wives. Life is so unfair! What rubbish!

Magic: The Gathering: Embracing my inner nerd at the Grand Prix London

Nice article. I'm really missing the boardgame articles/reviews that sprung up about a year or so ago. Is Ars all out of boardgame lovers?

CEO Bezos says harsh NYT piece “doesn’t describe the Amazon I know”

There was an article in Harper's about a year ago about retirees who worked at Amazon fulfillment centers. The picture the article painted was not flattering. This is really not surprising.

CA county offers $75,000 reward to catch drone pilots who botched firefighting

"After drones prevented planes from dumping fire retardant, city officials are mad." The city officials are angry, I think. Not quite mad.

Sacrilegious Binding of Isaac: Rebirth finally launches on Nintendo systems

"Now on Wii, "new" 3DS; original version was famously denied by Nintendo in 2012." It wasn't just denied. It was famously denied.

Comcast trademarks “True Gig” and plans multi-gigabit Internet service

Comcast Executives: And then we told them about 'True Gig'! And they bought it! Hahahaha....hahahahahaha....hahahahahaha. Time to ship another box of "Merger Approved" stamps to our brothers in arms at the FCC.

Bayonetta 2 Review: A Leading lady worth rooting for

While the Polygon review certainly takes a different perspective, saying one opinion is more "even-handed" than another is a bit pointless. Suffice it to say, you like this opinion more.

Reports suggest the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus may bend under pressure

Ha, I realize this is a joke, but it reminds of the first Kindle case made by Amazon. There were many instances of people accidentally opening it from the wrong side and cracking the Kindle. In the reviews of the case on Amazon, people were actually saying "Just don't open it from the wrong...

I hope so as well. I do think it's getting better though. People are generally pretty good at ignoring trolls or laughing at them. We are making progress. :)

Thousands of developers sign plea for tolerance in gaming community

I assume by "-ist" you mean sexist, racist, mysoginist, etc., but which article are you talking about? Certainly not this one, which mentions none of those words. And Casey Johnston's previous article also used none of those words. You're calling my a hypocrite by measuring my comments against...
