BMW bumps the 7 Series for 2027, adds all-new battery

I got, what I think, is the last true BMW of its kind. I got an M8. Manual temperature buttons, no hybrid stuff. And I wish it would've come with physical dials, instead of the display, but hey, overall, solid car, beautiful, and not influenced by whoever is currently running BMW, and the...

Holy cow... Does that car actually have a Zyn advertisement? Are we going back in time?

That already happened when the Find my remote stopped working through Google Home. Literally the only smart feature I used.

BMW’s first electric M car is coming in 2027—with one motor per wheel

And it's going to be another compromise because they need to fit in AND a combustion engine in this platform AND full batteries. That's why the i4 just isn't good. It's fast, but the range sucks. I guess I'll keep the M8. At last that one has temperature control buttons.

Cheaper, lower-capacity Switch 2 cartridges could mean fewer Game Key Cards

To me those cards at least would allow me to loan out / sell the card. Can't do that with digital licenses. I remember games coming on CD with one-time multiplayer activation keys. Ugh.

Man buys 20TB portable HDD for $51. Son breaks the news that it’s a fake.

This is actually an excellent reason to not buy physical devices with the same account that you use for the services tied to those devices. For example, when buying a new iPhone, don't use your Apple Card (yes that 3% is nice, but there are other cards out there that give you a second year...

Experimental drug looks to be gastric bypass surgery in pill form

I had a lap band in the past (removed due to issues). Was morbidly obese, got lap-band, weight dropped to BMI 25. But a lap band is horrible, it's a constant of something in your throat. And you're still hungry. The hunger is something in your brain, and the lap-band is merely a physical...

The 2025 BMW M5 Touring review: Way more power, way too much weight

European emissions. Simple as that. Very sad that the rotary controller is disappearing. I don't like to touch the screen. I still use the rotary button to navigate the menus, as I hate to have to lean over to touch the screen. Not touch mention it is more precise. I wish BMW would go the VW...

Weight saving and aero optimization feature in the 2025 Porsche 911 GT3

All gasoline BMWs sold in Europe come with a particulate filter. US versions don't, and this helps with performance when having the exact same engine. So if it's legally not needed, I don't want an additional serviceable part in my exhaust.

From diapers to mouths of babes: How splash pads sickened over 10K

The general laissez-passer attitude of parents and hauling their children with shit-filled diapers everywhere is insane. I've seen them change a diaper on tables. If they aren't out of diapers don't bring them near places with water.

Man sick of crashes sues Intel for allegedly hiding CPU defects

My suggestion is to make a warranty claim and get it replaced. That way you at least have one that isn't damaged. Who knows what you will run the day after your warranty expires, which uses a part of the die damaged?
