Plucky crew of Star Trek: Discovery seeks a strange artifact in S5 trailer

I mostly disagree. Sorry. If there is not a crisis, episodic or season-long, what's the point of the show? It's not a documentary about space travel and Alcubierre propulsion. And of course it's focused on one crew, because it's not about seven billion stories on a planet, and viewers prefer...

Name a US company that has not raised their prices. Just one. Actually, name a company anywhere in the world that hasn’t.

Google’s 21-year deal with Apple is the “heart” of monopoly case, judge says

Why do so many feel that the free market can’t operate by itself without government interference? TNG reunion injects a little fun into Star Trek: Picard’s uneven final season

I think it’s funny that the comm badge issue is what concerns you, but the transporter beam dematerializing and rematerializing humans does not. That being said, it’s entertainment, suspend your disbelief, unlike so many here that seem to never have a good day.

Why is a small Swedish automaker a decade ahead of the rest of the industry?

I read other sites, including one that is universally pro Tesla and anti everything else, especially Toyota. I’ve tried to get them to see the Koenigsegg way, but so far to no avail. These guys are amazing from top to bottom.

De-extinction company sets its next (first?) target: The thylacine

My initial response is "Hell no." But let's be fair--hunters can only travel on foot and only use stone-tipped spears. Then it might be fair.

Removing a GPS tracking device from your car isn’t theft, court rules

My argument is completely different: The police GAVE HIM the device, for free. To me he is under no obligation to return it, leave it in place, or take care of it in any way.

Pick your poison: The potential Iranian responses to US drone strike

“...a few stiff jabs on the chin...”? I hope you never have to have a military bereavement team come to your house regarding one of those stiff jabs on the chin. Believe me, it’s not something you ever get over.
