My MIL is suffering from late Alzheimer’s. It has been terrible watching my wife and her siblings deal with it in very different ways. IMO the disease is worse than just passing on quickly. Experiencing them slowly forgetting you, or worse, their personality completely change, is painful.

Whole family has both flu and Covid shots (Moderna version) now. No one asked for anything. Benefit of the West Coast Alliance I assume.

I got my Flu and Covid shot today. Kids were supposed to get their Covid tomorrow, but pediatrician hasn't received them yet so have to reschedule. They got their Flu last week.

Long time lurker, recent subscriber after the coverage and statements this year. Generally appreciate everything thus far. I agree with many of the Indie gaming, EU/US mix, and policy content comments. Wouldn't mind a niche topic on home security cameras or industry/manufacturing coverage...

As soon as this was announced last year I ordered an Apple TV, trashed the Roku and haven't looked back.

This could be useful in emergency situations like power outages that last longer than the cell tower's back up generator or battery does. But I don't know I'd want to pay for constantly, more like maybe a multi-month segment of the year when bad weather is expected.

It's not always cost - my roof shape isn't really designed for solar. This also needs to start with the designers of homes to account for how it is positioned/shaped to maximum potential benefits.
